The name "Can da la Bissa" originates from the Visconti dynasty, one of the oldest Italian noble families, who lovers of hunting used to surround themselves with greyhounds and hounds who wore a collar with the Visconti coat of arms: the snake.
THE LA MERIDIANA VINEYARD IS A SMALL AND PRECIOUS CLOS WITH ORGANIC CERTIFICATION LOCATED IN THE PIACENTINE VALLEYS OF ANCARANO SOTTO. BORN IN 2015 FROM AN IDEA AND BY THE WILL OF GUIDO MUSETTI, ENTREPRENEUR PASSIONATE OF WINE AND GOOD THINGS.
CAN DA LA BISSA is a pleasant and refined sparkling Rosé wine produced exclusively from grapes grown in Val Trebbia.
The first generous hills and the type of clayey soil strongly characterize the expression of the wine.
The grape varieties used are those typical of Piacenza: Malvasia, Ortrugo, Barbera and Bonarda .
The different types of grapes are harvested at the same time and vinified with a soft pressing. The musts begin to ferment according to the MARTINOTTI METHOD which preserves the most immediate and fruity aspects .
Pale powder pink color reveals a beautiful dense and persistent foam that continues with a fine and continuous perlage .
The fresh aromas are reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit .
The aroma in the mouth is pleasant and I always keep inviting a new sip. Rosé Can da la Bissa is a sparkling wine of great immediacy .
To be proposed as an aperitif, with preparations of fried fish and shellfish, but also with sweet salami of the local tradition such as pancetta and coppa.
It is advisable to serve chilled wine at no more than 5/6 degrees .
