A sensory journey that combines Colombian tradition with the refinement of a unique barrique fermentation process, enriched by the intense and enveloping aromas of rum.
An Excellent Coffee with a Unique Process
Colombia Barrique Rum Fermentation is an elegant and refined 100% Arabica coffee, fermented in barrels that have held rum for at least 8 years. After being hand-picked, de-pulped, and washed, the beans are left to rest for approximately 3 months in the barriques, acquiring aromatic complexity and a surprising creaminess.
Grown on a 110-hectare plantation in the mountainous areas of southern Colombia, at the foot of the Nevado del Ruiz , this coffee grows in extremely fertile volcanic soil that gives the plants ideal conditions for slow ripening, capable of concentrating aromas and flavors.
